Comfort HDS is a Danish company, and Denmark has been one of the world’s leading district heating countries for over 100 years. Today, 63% of Danish households are supplied via district heating, with the corresponding figure in Germany being 8% and the United Kingdom 2%.
In Copenhagen, 99% of households are supplied with district heating, and Comfort HDS is one of the largest suppliers of industrial district heating systems in the Copenhagen area.
Comfort HDS has entered into several new business partnerships in Europe in 2020 to increase its business activities in Western Europe, where we already sell district heating systems to seven countries.
Among the most prominent tasks have been facilities for the pandas at Copenhagen Zoo and the Danish national football team.
The Comfort HDS team was put together in 2017 by Bent and Kirsten Christensen. From the beginning, the goal has been to bring together one of the most experienced teams in the district heating industry.
The management team consists of sales support manager Thomas Petersen with 24 years of experience in the district heating industry.
Team Leader and QC Mads Heiselberg who has over 20 years of experience with welding, pipe production, machine assembly and quality control.
Most experienced, however, is our R&D manager Jan Jørgensen, who recently celebrated his 40th anniversary in the district heating industry in 2020.
In addition, most have worked together for over 20 years. This is exactly why we are convinced in having one of the most experienced teams in the district heating industry.
